Joke J. Hermsen & the Marmen Quartet and Dominique Vleeshouwers

Neerlands hoop in bange dagen was the name of the cabaret group that Freek de Jonge and Bram Vermeulen founded in 1968. 'Is er hoop in bange dagen?' asks the writer Joke Hermsen in this Scherpdenkers. The question of what we may hope for was already posed in 1871 by the philosopher Immanuel Kant.
