Mit Bach im Salon

For Whit Sunday 1725, Johann Sebastian Bach composed the festive cantata »Wer mich liebet, der wird mein Wort halten« BWV 74. The libretto is by Christiana Mariana von Ziegler, who ran a lively musical salon on the Brühl, which the Leipzig Thomaskantor gladly and often visited.
