Advent Concert from Dresden

In 2000, ZDF broadcast a concert from the Frauenkirche, then still under construction, for the first time; the soloist was Cecilia Bartoli. Since then, many leading artists have accepted the invitation to the annual ZDF Advent Concert. This will be the case again in 2026, when the concert once again heralds Advent.
