Saint-Saëns: Oratorio de Noël
What now? A Christmas oratorio that is not by Bach?! For some this will be a surprise, for others a welcome variety of programming. And anyone who already knows this French masterpiece by Camille Saint-Saëns, with its potentially hit-worthy choral melodies and its particularly romantic lushness, is already looking forward to it.
