This concert brings together jazz tradition and organ practice. Classics by Bach alternate with new work by Rembrandt himself. Compositions in which improvisation and unexpected sound worlds meet. The result is not a traditional organ recital but a voyage of discovery that respects the rich cultural and historical value of Dutch organs, while also showing how current, versatile and alive this instrument can sound today: a concert in which the organ is freed from its usual context and reinvented.
