Liza Ferschtman & the Phion Orchestra

Liza Ferschtman and the Phion Orchestra are celebrating 200 years of Ludwig van Beethoven! This programme centres on Beethoven, but his music is not presented here merely as historical heritage. Two works by Beethoven himself – the Eighth Symphony and the Violin Concerto – are framed by the perspective of contemporary composer Jörg Widmann.
