Beethoven 200: The Ninth

With his Ninth Symphony, Beethoven made history. For the first time he added voices to a symphony, bringing Schiller's Ode to Joy to life in an unrivalled musical climax. Choir and four soloists sing of brotherhood and hope, carried by an orchestra that constantly surprises, moves and exhilarates.
