Noord Nederlands Orkest

A programme full of variety: from an alarming start to an exuberant finale. This is a programme full of variety. The pieces by Liszt and Kodály are filled with Hungarian folk music, with a gripping alternation of melancholy melodies and rousing dance rhythms. They are also beautifully orchestrated, with velvety clarinet parts and buzzing strings.
