Werther
Werther comes to Wetzlar, his heart full of enthusiasm for nature, poetry and longing for love, and soon even fuller of Charlotte, the daughter of a widowed bailiff. But Charlotte is engaged to Albert, and because she loves Werther yet knows Albert's worth, she keeps her promise.
