Immler, Widmann and the MKO
HOMELAND IN LOVE. Already as a piano student, Jörg Widmann fell in love with the music of Robert Schumann. With Schumannliebe, he realised in 2023 an orchestration of the song cycle Dichterliebe after Heinrich Heine, a long-cherished dream. Widmann describes the instrumental sound as "at times psychedelic".
