Christmas Sounds of the Romantic Era: from Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky to Rossini

This gala concert leads through the expressive sound world of the 19th century. Music by Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky meets the lively theatrical spirit of Rossini: lyrical lines, dramatic build-ups and familiar melodies form a varied arc of tension.
