7. Sinfoniekonzert

Elgar's monumental oratorio traces the journey of a deceased person into the Kingdom of Heaven. Elgar depicts encounters with angels, demons and the lamenting souls in purgatory through dramatic effects and contrasting choruses. With this performance, in which the Opera Chorus and City Choir, soloists and a large orchestra come together, a personal dream also comes true for GMD Leo McFall.
