Grand Concert n°2

The OCL and the EVL join forces with the great Baroque specialist William Christie to perform Handel's Messiah, an emblematic work of the oratorio. Composed in 1741, Messiah and its libretto follow a three-part journey – before, during and after Christ – from the prophecies of the Old Testament to the death, resurrection and promise of the return of the Messiah.
