»Impulse: Music in Motion«

Hear Tchaikovsky, see Shostakovich: when music and movement meet, the experience is thrilling

The Scottish Ensemble does things a little differently: it plays from memory, standing up, and, best of all, it moves across the stage while playing. Its programme "Impulse: Music in Motion" features two classics of the string orchestra repertoire: Shostakovich's Chamber Symphony and Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings, which the choreography makes even more striking.
