Barocke Opulenz

Works by women composers from the 17th and 18th centuries, drawn from three different European linguistic regions, are the focus of this concert. Alongside enchantingly beautiful music, the programme stands out for its range of forms: from songs, arias and cavatinas to dances, a march, sonata, oratorio, pastoral play and tragédie lyrique, the skill and versatility of the Baroque women composers become evident.
