Stock­hausen „Inori“

The NOW! Festival opens with "Inori", one of the many cult pieces by Karlheinz Stockhausen. In keeping with this year's festival focus, "Transcendence", the spirituality of Stockhausen is reflected in a unique way in "Inori" (the Japanese word for "adorations"). Two soloists stand at the centre, depicting prayer gestures from a wide range of cultures and eras through choreography and mimesis.
