Weihnachten mit Daniel Hope

Into the Christmas bustle! On the eve of the fourth Advent, multi-talented star violinist Daniel Hope returns to the Philharmonie Essen to attune his audience musically to the festive season. The programme includes excerpts from Engelbert Humperdinck's opera Hänsel und Gretel, which remains one of the most popular operas to this day, festive trumpet sounds and Georg Friedrich Handel's aria 'Let the bright Seraphim' from the oratorio Samson.
