Silvesterkonzert
"Seid umschlungen, Millionen!" (Be embraced, you millions!): scarcely more fitting words could open a new year. Friedrich Schiller's verses, made world-famous by Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, set the tone for a year that will be special for the musical world. With a Beethoven gala, the year of the jubilarian 2027 begins on New Year's Eve.
