Intercontinental Ensemble

The Intercontinental Ensemble consists of nine members – four string players and five wind players – from all over the world. The programme includes the impressive Nonet by the French composer and virtuoso pianist Louise Farrenc (1804–1875), full of rich textures and complex scores that show how great her compositional skills were.
