Simeonkwartet (Canto Ostinato 4 vleugels)

Het Simeonkwartet specialises in the compositions of the Dutch composer Simeon ten Holt. The quartet consists of the pianists Emile Engel, Cathelijne Maat, Esther Scheerder and Jacobus den Herder. This Sunday afternoon's concert is devoted entirely to a performance of Ten Holt's 'Canto Ostinato'. The very first performance took place in 1979 in the Ruïnekerk in Bergen.
