The Counterpoints
For anyone who still thinks the recorder is merely an instrument for the first steps on the musical path, this concert is a must. The Dutch "recorder wizard" (De Standaard) Thomas Triesschijn makes the recorder shine in masterpieces by Vivaldi, Telemann and Bach. "Triesschijn's sound is enchanting, truly hair-raising, and makes the ears prick up," according to Gramophone.
