Denés Várjon
The Hungarian pianist Denés Várjon honours his teacher György Kurtág with a recital 'from the first hand'. He plays a representative cross-section of Kurtág's oeuvre and places it alongside music that the composer held dear. An intimate evening full of concentration and intensity.
