Musica Amphion & Gerben van der Werf

Fantastic homegrown Baroque musicians dive into the work of the greatest Baroque composers of Italy and Germany. Musica Amphion plays Vivaldi's moving Nisi Dominus and Bach's cantata Vergnügte Ruh, beliebte Seelenlust. For the solo part in both masterpieces, the musicians, who play in just about all the leading Baroque ensembles in the Netherlands, bring in the young countertenor Gerben van der Werf.
