Calefax

Calefax is known for impressive ensemble playing, brilliant arrangements and an open, accessible style of presentation. The musicians take you through centuries of music history, from Bach to Debussy and from Duke Ellington to Nina Simone. In doing so, familiar music suddenly sounds different: lighter, sharper, more intimate or surprisingly grand.
