Lina & Marco Mezquida

With O Fado, Lina & Marco Mezquida bring fado back to its essence, but in a form that sounds open, new and surprisingly intimate. The Portuguese singer and the Spanish pianist found each other in a shared sensitivity to silence, melody and poetic tension. What began as a natural encounter between two outspoken musical voices grew into a collaboration in which fado, piano and improvisation subtly reinforce one another.
