New European Ensemble

Almost every season we also look back at the great modernists of the 20th century. This time the Haage ensemble New European puts the forefather of conceptual post-war music, John Cage, in the spotlight. Among other works, the famous 4'33" is performed. With Still Life with Late Melodies, a recent work by Jurg Frey, we make a leap in time to contemporary music, which can just as well excel in stillness.
