Lukas Sternath & Philharmonia Orchestra – Beethoven 4. Klavierkonzert

Three works, three perspectives on strength and feeling: under the direction of the Finnish chief conductor Santtu-Matias Rouvali, the Philharmonia Orchestra presents powerful works from the present day to the Romantic era, from Unsuk Chin's "Subito con forza" to Tchaikovsky's passionate Fourth Symphony. At the centre of the concert is Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4, which, in the interpretation of the much-admired pianist Lukas Sternath, brings the quiet, poetic expressive power of this work into focus.
