Iván Fischer and his Budapest Festival Orchestra return to Dortmund with Ludwig van Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. Under his characteristically transparent and lively direction, the work unfolds its overwhelming force, from the dark tension of the opening to the visionary finale of the 'Ode to Joy'.
