Junge Wilde – Julia Hagen & Friends

Youthful wildness meets chamber music maturity: Julia Hagen brings a piano quartet to Dortmund that generates genuine ensemble energy with clear sound and a lively approach. Frank Bridge's colourful Phantasy Quartet opens the evening with British elegance and subtle arcs of tension. After the interval, Brahms's G minor Quartet stands at the centre – a work that ranges from passionate urgency to dance-like fury.
