DRK-Gala

It is the largest charity event of its kind held by the German Red Cross in Germany: the festive Opera Gala of the DRK Duisburg is a highlight of the city's social life and in demand well beyond its borders. The 20th edition is once again staged by soloists of the ensemble of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and the Duisburger Philharmoniker under the direction of Hendrik Vestmann, with a glittering musical programme including excerpts from popular operas by Verdi, Puccini, Bellini and Gounod, among others.
