Symphonie fantastique

Berlioz's "Symphonie fantastique" is an intoxicating piece: obsessive love, dream, abyss and garish sound images drive this music to the edge of loss of control. After Kahchun Wong's powerful interpretation of Mussorgsky's "Pictures" in 2024, we can now bring out the church bells again. Alongside Berlioz and Ifukube, which are very effective, the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra premieres a new triple concerto.
