Symphonie fantastique

Berlioz's "Symphonie fantastique" is an intoxicating piece: amorous delusion, dream, abyss and garish sound pictures drive this music to the brink of loss of control. After Kahchun Wong's powerful interpretation of Mussorgsky's "Pictures" in 2024, we can now bring out the church bells again. Alongside Berlioz and Ifukube – very effective! – the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker are giving the premiere of a new triple concerto.
