Matthäus-Passion – Luthers Bach Ensemble

This is not simply a performance of Bach’s St Matthew Passion. The Luthers Bach Ensemble and conductor Tymen Jan Bronda present a staged Matthäus: the soloists sing from memory and reinforce the drama with gestures and movement. Their staged Matthäus was awarded five stars by Trouw.
