Adams, Reich en Glass

Once, the repetitive sounds of minimal music pioneers Steve Reich and Philip Glass were a dazzling shock. This season both composers reach the age of ninety. Their 'successor' John Adams is also eighty. Pianist Ralph van Raat, together with musician friends, pays a deep tribute to these masters and honours them with, among other works, a Dutch premiere of Piano Counterpoint, an arrangement of Six Pianos.
