AVROTROS Kerstconcert: Mozarts Krönungsmesse
Regal sounds just before Christmas: Mozart's Krönungsmesse, so named because the Mass was performed at the coronation of Emperor Leopold II as King of Bohemia, sounds alongside Haydn's 'Queen Symphony'. It owes its nickname to the French queen Marie Antoinette; it was reportedly her favourite symphony.
