We met her for the first time in 2024, and now the conductor Joana Mallwitz is back on stage at Bozar, this time with her 'very own' Konzerthausorchester Berlin. Emilie Mayer, sometimes nicknamed the 'female Beethoven', was not only an accomplished composer: she was also a sculptor and the co-director of the Berlin Opera.
