Estonian composer Arvo Pärt is one of the most frequently performed living composers. He is now 90 years young. With his tranquil and distinctive tintinnabuli style (head straight to Google), he has inspired a new generation of listeners to contemporary music. The largest a cappella choral work in his oeuvre is the impressive Kanon Pokajanen from 1997.
