Stephen Hough in Recital

Acclaimed pianist Stephen Hough offers an era-spanning program of works, moving from the gentle melodies of Schubert and Brahms to the aural innovations of Schoenberg and Stockhausen, with Beethoven’s monumental “Waldstein” Sonata as a dramatic centerpiece. The evening concludes with Robert Schumann’s delightfully enigmatic Carnaval and Hough’s own arrangement of music from Mary Poppins.
