Brussels Philharmonic, Brussels Jazz Orchestra & Flemish Radio Choir

In his monumental and unparalleled TRIO, Simon Steen-Andersen confronts an orchestra, choir and big band with video recordings selected from more than 400 hours of historical film material. The short clips, some lasting only a fraction of a second, together form a collage of musical memories in dialogue with the 150 musicians on stage.
