Cinderella and the Piccolo Flute

Music by Prokofiev and Liebermann with Ryan Bancroft and Anna Riikonen.

Flautist Anna Riikonen has been a member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra since 2010. We often see her playing the piccolo, for which she has principal responsibility. It is in a concerto for piccolo that she now takes the stage as soloist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra: the American Lowell Liebermann's Piccolo Concerto from 1996.
