Prokofiev and Stravinsky

The powerful Third Piano Concerto and colourful ballet music. Elim Chan conducts and Lukáš Vondráček is the piano soloist.

Of Prokofiev's five piano concertos, the third is his most performed and beloved. Since its premiere in Chicago in 1921, with the composer himself as soloist, it has remained a modern classic.
