Robin Ticciati, music director of Glyndebourne Festival Opera, returns to the helm of the Budapest Festival Orchestra to conduct two monumental works from the turn of the 20th century. The concert opens with Rachmaninoff’s First Piano Concerto, a work that blends the composer’s youthful passion with the experience of a mature master.
