Wagner: Tristan und Isolde

It was in 2018 that the Müpa Budapest audience was first exposed to Italian director Cesare Lievi’s vision for the story of Tristan und Isolde, and now it is returning in 2027. Taking up the baton to helm the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and Hungarian National Choir will be Budapest Wagner Days artistic director Ádám Fischer.
