The Monster Trilogy

The American theatre maker and performer Michael Matthews (1958–1996) came to the Netherlands at the age of twenty. He made boundary-pushing productions and impressively combined pop, underground and classical culture. In the final years of his life he reflected on stage on his illness and approaching death.
