Falstaff - Óperan

The first major production of the new Opera will be Giuseppe Verdi's comic opera Falstaff, and it is the first time this masterpiece has been staged in Iceland. The work is based on characters from plays by William Shakespeare and tells of the comical attempts of the aristocrat Falstaff to seduce two wealthy women and then swindle their husbands out of money.
