Orchestral Concert • Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, Grazer Philharmoniker, Alexandra Dovgan

Longing for love and ecstasy: Emmanuel Tjeknavorian and the Graz Philharmonic interpret music of intense emotion by Wagner and Scriabin. Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, by contrast, already points towards the Beethoven year of 2027. The soloist is the 19-year-old Alexandra Dovgan, the only protégée of Grigory Sokolov ("her piano playing is a miracle").
