Orchestral Concert • Vassilis Christopoulos, Grazer Philharmoniker, Albrecht Mayer

Vassilis Christopoulos and the Grazer Philharmoniker present Mendelssohn's Romantic Hebrides Overture alongside Schumann's First Symphony, his "jubilant YES to life". A musical look back on life, by contrast, is offered by Strauss in the Oboe Concerto and Elgar in Soliloquy (oboe: Albrecht Mayer, Berliner Philharmoniker).
