Beethoven, ‘Emperor’ Concerto – Jan Lisiecki / Eva Ollikainen

The origins of the word ‘Emperor’, which features in Beethoven’s fifth and final piano concerto, have never been fully clarified. Could it, as is claimed, have come from an English impresario?
