In Nieuwe Blik Terug, musician, presenter and documentary-maker Orville Breeveld shines a spotlight on composers and musicians whom we are, rather unfairly, not very familiar with. This edition of Nieuwe Blik Terug focuses on Surinamese composers, with a special emphasis on Baithak Gana, the musical genre that flourished within the Hindustani community in Suriname.
