François Dumont – piano

Under the inspired fingers of François Dumont, Beethoven's piano reaches its full breadth and sense of freedom. While the early sonatas of the Master of Bonn display dazzling virtuosity, Beethoven then sets out to express the facets of the human soul. With its contrasts and passionate spirit, the "Pathétique" Sonata gives way to inner drama.
